Mobiles
Handmade porcelain domes balance one another on a series of cascading, arched arms. These sculptures are an absolute joy to build. They start as a collection of disparate parts that, when perfectly balanced, achieve stability and scale that seem to defy the possible.
Each Mobile is custom designed by Ted Bradley to your specification. The sculptures can be made round or linear, with your chosen number of domes, sizes from 6-inches to 22-inches, and overall dimensions ranging from 3-feet to more than 12-feet.

Armature
The Armature series is characterized by rigid metal armatures that present the domes in unique and sculptural formats. These designs were a joy to dream up - a play of form, texture, and light. Only one junction box is required for each piece, despite each having two downrods.
The sculptures are designed using configurable parts, which allows customization in dome sizing, number of domes, and final dimensions - we will custom build a sculpture that will be the perfect fit for your space.
Sconces & Wall Sculptures
The dome sconce is available in five sizes from 6-inches to 14-inches diameter. The inner light "shield" can be specified as porcelain or metal with the glaze color or patina finish of your choice.
My sconces cast light both forward from the inside the dome, and cast light onto the wall from behind the dome, creating additional light output and a beautiful, glowing halo effect.
Plantae
This series is inspired by a leaf I saw on the rainforest floor in Belize in 2009. The leaf had fallen from the branches above down to the forest floor, and had begun to curl into itself. It was beginning the transition back to the black dirt from where it came, and creating an intensely beautiful sight in the process.
The Plantae series is as meaningful as it is visually unique. The sculptures both capture the aesthetic of the leaf in that moment, and serve as a visual reminder of how special our short time is here. This series is a celebratory reminder to cherish each day and live our lives to the fullest.
Swag Pendants
Handmade porcelain domes hang from sweeping, finely braided metal cording. Swag Pendants provide a beautiful aesthetic contrast to spaces defined by right angles and straight lines. Only one junction box is required for each sculpture.
Each set of Swag Pendants is custom designed by Ted Bradley to your specification. The sculptures can be made round or linear, and with your chosen number of domes ranging from 12-inches to 22-inches, in any dimensions you like. The domes can optionally be hung angled.
