Porcelain & LED light sculptures | Exceptional craftsmanship | Unlike anything else
Process
It takes over three-hundred steps and five weeks to make a single porcelain ring.
The handmade process means each ring is unique - a one-of-a-kind work of art in and of itself.

The rings are made from a specially formulated porcelain that is among the brightest white in the world. Each ring is formed by a master ceramicist, dried for several weeks in a humidity chamber, and fired to over 2000° which transforms it to a delicate white stone.
The metal components are custom designed specifically for each sculpture, and precision machined to a tolerance of 5-thousandth of an inch. Each parts is hand-polished and given the patina of your choice using centuries old techniques.
Each ring is carefully inlaid with more than a thousand dimmable LED lights that are among the highest quality in the industry. Near perfect color accuracy ensures your space is clear, bright, and appears as it would in natural light. You may specify any color temperature.

Story
It was a near impossible challenge to create the world's first set of porcelain light rings.

VIDEO BY ANDREW REILAND
Two master mold makers told me it would be very difficult or impossible. It took 12 months and hundreds of failures, sometimes working as much as one-hundred hours in a week.
In my sculptures I aim to capture a moment of beauty in the natural world, and bring it to life with handmade artistry that imbues it with meaning. To me that's a calling worth pursuing for a lifetime.
